Fancy a change; a new year, a new job?

Are you ready to make a positive difference to someone’s life?

Is your job working for you, is it fulfilling?

Perhaps you are thinking it’s time to consider something else, a different job, a different direction in social work?

If you really want to make a difference for families, create better outcomes for children, work in a team of likeminded, supportive, committed individuals doing a unique and extraordinary job that is not your usual 9-5; is challenging, rewarding and at times frustrating, and for an organisation committed to you and to supporting change, then come and work for St. Michael’s.

We are an organisation that is committed to getting the best outcomes for children and their families, through the way we work and through the relationships we develop and we are seeking qualified Social Workers or experienced practitioners to come and join us.

If you are newly qualified or considering training, this is a brilliant opportunity to test out whether a career in social work is right for you.

Or if you’re an experienced Social Worker looking to work for a company that looks after their staff, then we want to hear from you!

You will be part of a dedicated team, where you will have the opportunity to work closely with children and their parents. Over time you will be exploring with them complex issues including mental health, learning difficulties, substance misuse and domestic abuse.

You will have the opportunity to work in a team and an organisation that is supportive and challenges you to develop yourself and your practice. We are an organisation with a strong ethos of training and development, recognising that in order to deliver a great service, we need to invest in our staff.

If you want to make a difference to the lives of children and their families, we want to meet you!

“They wanted the best for us, they helped us so much.” Parent
