Our board must represent the families we are trying to help. We want the trustees we recruit to help to make the best decisions, and these come when you bring together a diverse group of people with different skills and lived experiences.
All our new trustees are given training and support when they join us.
Help us keep families together
We are so proud of our team’s work, helping keep children safe and treating parents with fairness and respect. They are a passionate team every day working to give children a brighter future by supporting their parents. This could be at one of our three residential family centres or in the community; St Michael’s supports the day-to-day challenges of parenting and ultimately keeps families together. These challenges have intensified with the pandemic and the cuts to standards of living, especially for the families we work with.
Your help is needed more than ever.
The need for our services is more vital than ever, but historical funding routes are being squeezed. Having successfully managed these challenges in recent years, we realise that the next few years will likely present more obstacles. We need a strong board of trustees with the right skills and knowledge to help us grow.

We are looking to recruit trustees to support the board and an outstanding staff team in building an organisation that can expand to help many more vulnerable families and children in the years to come.
This is the perfect role for someone passionate about making a difference in the lives of vulnerable children and families. Can you work collaboratively with fellow trustees while having sound judgement and a practical approach?
