“I am delighted to formally introduce myself as the new Chair of Trustees at St Michael’s Fellowship.
I’ve been a trustee for almost three years and have had the privilege of seeing first-hand the care, skill and commitment that runs through every part of the organisation. I know how hard everyone has worked during what has been a period of significant change.
I also want to take this opportunity to thank Sally Prentice for her leadership as Chair over the past few years. Sally has guided the organisation through complex moments, and the Board is deeply grateful for her thoughtful and steady stewardship.
As Chair, my role is to support the Chief Executive and the Board in maintaining strong governance, ensuring we remain focused on our long-term mission, and helping create the conditions in which St Michael’s can continue to thrive.
I look forward to working closely with Oretha and the rest of the team in the months ahead.”
“I’m really pleased to formally welcome Jonathan into his role as Chair of the Trustee Board.
I’ve had the opportunity to work with Jonathan over recent months and appreciate the time he has taken to get to know the organisation and the context in which we’re working. Having been on the Board for the last 3 years, Jonathan’s familiarity with St Michael’s Fellowship and his commitment to supporting the organisation, as it moves through a period of change, will be important in the months ahead.
I also want to echo Jonathan’s thanks to Sally Prentice for her leadership and stewardship as Chair. She has given a great deal to the organisation, often in complex and demanding circumstances, and her contribution is deeply appreciated.
As we continue to navigate change and shape the next phase of St Michael’s Fellowship together, strong and supportive governance is essential. I’m very much looking forward to working with Jonathan and the Board as we focus on stability, purpose and the quality of what we offer to families.”
