Jonathan Bannister
Chair of the Board of Trustees
Jonathan is the founder of Make Happy, a creative facilitation and innovation consultancy. He brings specialist expertise in Design Thinking, Lego Serious Play, and team development. As St Michael’s digital trustee, he supports the charity’s strategic approach to innovation and communication.

Samantha da Soller
Treasurer
Samantha is a CGMA Fellow and finance professional with over 30 years’ experience across not-for-profit, private equity, and international sectors. Currently Deputy Director of Finance for the Church Commissioners, she has also led finance and operations for two national charities. She brings deep expertise in funding strategy, scaling impact, and organisational growth.

Juline Sinclair
Juline is a senior social worker with leadership experience in child protection, probation, leaving care, children’s rights, and safeguarding adults across local authorities.

Jasmine Assi
Jasmine has 18 years’ experience in Financial Services, specialising in implementing organisational change. She serves as a Governor for a Trust in West London, contributing her expertise in safeguarding, strategic oversight, and fundraising. Jasmine is passionate about improving systems and outcomes for children and families.

Yasmin Garcia Stirling
Yasmin is undertaking a PhD in Project Management and Construction, sponsored by Vercity Group Asset Management. She brings research and analytical expertise alongside lived experience as a young single mother, inspiring her commitment to St Michael’s mission. Yasmin is particularly interested in connecting evidence-based practice with real-world family support.

Shantel Thomas
Shantel is a social work leader, activist, and academic, shaped by her South London upbringing and lived experience as a young mother supported by St Michael’s. She was the UK’s first Anti-Racism Lead at the British Association of Social Workers (BASW) and now teaches at the Tavistock Centre. Founder of the Anti-Racist Movement and a PhD researcher, she is dedicated to advancing equity and empowering Black women in leadership.

Maria Takaendisa
Maria is an Ubuntu Coach, Organisational Consultant, and qualified Systemic Psychotherapist specialising in trauma, including racial and organisational trauma. She is committed to creating inclusive, trauma-informed environments that foster healing, justice, and equity. Maria’s work is guided by a belief in amplifying silenced voices and honouring untold stories.

Regina Zyrek
Regina has over eight years of HR leadership experience in the non-profit sector. She holds an MSc in Human Resource Management and is an Associate Member of the CIPD. Regina is committed to inclusive practice and staff wellbeing, aligning HR strategy with organisational goals to enhance engagement and impact.

Candice Levy
Candice has over 20 years’ experience in Children’s Services, including leadership roles in residential family assessment, child protection, and care for adolescents and children with disabilities. She is a strong advocate for trauma-informed, child-centred practice and has recent experience in fostering and adoption.

Sean Cranitch
Sean spent 25 years in inner London Catholic schools as a Headteacher and governor, working closely with families facing significant challenges. He values St Michael’s work in breaking cycles of disadvantage and supporting both mothers and fathers to thrive. Sean holds an MA (Distinction) in Christianity and the Arts from King’s College London and lives locally with his family.
