Assessing Social Worker – Residential
Salary range: £37,500-£39,000 (depending on experience)
Analyse. Evidence. Inform life-changing decisions.
This role sits at the heart of our residential assessment model.
As an Assessing Social Worker, you will:
· lead parenting assessments
· analyse evidence from across the team
· produce high-quality court reports
· present evidence in court where required
You will not be expected to run shifts or manage staff.
Your focus is on:
· analysis
· professional judgement
· assessment integrity
You will work closely with Family Practitioners who generate the day-to-day evidence that informs your assessment.
We’re looking for:
· qualified social workers with strong child protection experience
· confidence in report writing and analysis
· ability to manage complexity and risk
· commitment to relational and anti-oppressive practice
