Stronger Minds Project
Being resilient can be the difference between a young person bouncing back from adversity or crumbling and falling apart…
What is it?
The Stronger Minds Programme was a collaboration between organisations working with young people in South London: The Resilience Foundry, St Michael’s Fellowship, Alford House, Rathbone and Beyond the Classroom.
The tool-kit was co-produced by 18 young people and seven youth workers in South London (one who had practiced as a psychologist). It’s free to download and will support professionals working with young people to improve the resilience of the young people they work with.
The kits are designed to be flexible, so professionals can dip in and out and tailor sessions to the young people they are working with.
Who is the toolkit for?
- Youth Workers, Advisors, Facilitators
- Teachers
- Young Parent Practitioners
- Young People’s Mental Health Support Worker
- Counsellors working with young people
